What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to love what I have in life, to trust God and to keep my family close. And it was ALL worthwhile.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Our housing was ALWAYS GREAT. We didn't have the greatest water flow or electricity but, it was always clean and GREAT.

* Food:

We never got hungry, and for that I thank our instructures and the WONDERFUL people in Ghana. Till today, I still miss having 3-5 meals a day.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Healthcare issues were addressed immediately! Our instructors made sure everyone who was sick was getting the help they needed

nothing of mine EVER got stolen or lost!

A Look Back

  • The people I met in Ghana and the people i traveled with
  • I learned SO much about their culture and traditions
  • I was NEVER hungry
* What could be improved?
  • Preparations before travel
  • spreading out events through out the trip so that we are not DRAINED and tired/bored at the end
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? How much I was going to LOVE it.
