Berea College: Thessaloniki - Agriculture and Food of Greece: Local to Global

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Studying abroad in Greece was undoubtedly worthwhile. I gained knowledge and skills in the kitchen when it comes to Greek cuisine. I learned to pay close attention to every element of food- how it was planted or raised, who cared after it, who prepared it, why is it tradtion, and so on. Makes every meal that much more enjoyable. I gained a great respect for the people of Greece and their amazing attitudes toward life. My appreciation for the beauty of creation deepened.
