What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned the hardships of pursuing science research in a developing country. Being resource strapped and still trying to make the best of the circumstances. It was very worthwhile.

I did not have a health issue during the entirety of the program so I cannot comment on this.
