Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
This program was so hands on. I learned about what I am truly passionate about and got to conduct my own research, giving me real life experience. Due to the small class size and amazing teachers I felt so comfortable learning and asking questions. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The program had a nice mixture of working scientists with the students. It was a truly immersion program in the marine biology field. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in "Visitors housing" which was a room with 3 twin sized bed, air conditioning and a bathroom. I only had one other roommate, but I kept so busy that I was barely in the room anyway! St. George is about a half an hour away from Hamilton which is where all the bars and night clubs are but its so easy to get there by the bus. |
* Food: |
The food was good but got old very quickly |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
There was very little cultural difference between us the the bermudians but there was a divide between faculty and the students |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt very safe, Bermuda is a small island and the people are very friendly |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
