What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I have been to Turkey before, so this trip was not my first. But i would say that for the people that i have met throughout the length of the program, it was a very enlightening and beneficial experience. They got to see eastern people and eastern traditions firsthand, and i think that this experience definetly does raise a person's cultural awareness.
