(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Every thing is expensive in Australia. If you really wanted to you could live on $100 a week, but it is easy to go past that with everything you can do.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Without including trips, around $170
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy snacks and fruit at the supermarket instead of at dining hall. If you are booking trips it is fine to use student flights but know what you want from them and instead of booking pre made package that can have stuff you don't want to do. And double check prices they offer you to make sure it is the lowest.
