I got experience working in a potential future field of study, learned about the culture/history of the country I was living in, met some amazing people and did some amazing things.

I got a great experience, a resume builder, and the freedom to travel as I pleased the majority of the time.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

Groceries were expensive in the city and there is many good places to eat out which is very tempting, however it is doable if you stick to a budget.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Spend money on experiences and traveling and not excessive take out/clothes/etc

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
