I got to travel to eight different countries and have real world experience because I had an internship for half of my program.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

The cost of living in Dublin is very high, so be prepared for that.

  • Ireland's casual culture
* What could be improved?
  • Getting the travel visa at the immigration bureau.
  • Expectations of expenses.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew that the program would not have provided direct ways of meeting locals. My friends and I went to pubs and other places designated for social gathering to meet locals, but we did that independently.
