This is a tough question for me. I feel that career wise, I learned and professionally I am so grateful for everything that this program has taught me about what I want to do as a career. However, I do not feel that it was so much the study abroad experience I wanted, as I did not feel integrated into the city at all, and Geneva was a very difficult city to live in financially and personally.

  • Administration
  • More integration into Swiss culture and people

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish that I knew how rigorous and challenging the schedule for this program was going to be. As study abroad is pass/fail for Brandeis students, I thought that I would have a lot of time to explore Geneva, Switzerland, and other parts of Europe. However, most days, I found myself working and/or studying all day and all night. Additionally, I wish that I knew how expensive living and eating in Geneva would be.
