Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The classes were a little easy but it was summer so it was perfect. I really enjoyed how they tried to make things more engaging with the guest speakers and field trips they chose |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
A little disorganized at times and the info from them was scarce but we figured it out. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Amazing! You cannot ask for a better location than South Kensington right in the central London. |
* Food: |
We had our own kitchens, and cooking was encouraged! I liked that a lot! It was also the place where the TV was so it was a very social place! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
We were really encouraged to get out and spend time with the people and places of London. I felt like I saw a lot and spent time with a good number or British people. The night life is amazing! |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
It was accessible if we needed it but I never did. It was really expensive though. |
* Safety: |
We had a security guard at our rooms around the clock. I felt very safe! |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
London is really expensive! I was spending about 150 pounds (240 USD) every week on groceries, social activities, postage, etc. It can be done for cheaper but I spent a lot. |
* Was housing included in your program cost? | Yes |
* Was food included in your program cost? | No |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 240 USD |
