Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It depends on which tract you are in, but overall it isn't beyond anything you do at your home university. You might be pushed a little just because you're balancing academics with adventures but it's more than manageable. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
Shop at Sainsbury's, Tesco, or Waitrose and you'll be good financially. Eating out in London is a waste of money unless it's for a special event or at a market. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
London is fairly expensive but it is easy to cut down on certain expenses. Bike every chance you get because the subway and buses are very pricey. Also set a limit for food spending per week. |

* Did your program have a foreign language component? | No |
