Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The school workload was not a lot but the actual working part was full time. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The apartments were nice and in a great location! |
* Food: |
Bring food to work if you can because it gets expensive as LA is expensive. BU had no affect on what I ate. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I didn't get to experience the city as much as i would have liked. I should have organized my time more and seen more of California. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt safe and the apartment was a big part of that. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | at least $100 dollars a week probably. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Going out is extremely expensive and buying lunch at work was expensive. |
