What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I improved my reading, speaking, and listening abilities, I made good friends, and I gained priceless experiences which taught me about Arab culture, Islam, Middle East politics, and life in general. It was most definitely worthwhile!

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Don't be afraid to get out there and talk to people. Just open your mouth and be friendly. Jordanians will want to get to know you if you are open and friendly.
