What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile. I got to see the challenges that a third-world country faces first hand. I learned that the people are very capable and knowledgeable about many things and have many contributions to design and engineering, although they are lacking in engineering principles.
