Brigham Young University: LDS Employment Services Spanish International Internship Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to help others and open up and not be scared to meet new people even in a new culture. I learned how to be independent in helping others and making decisions to help others make their decisions. I learned how to be independent outside of a Mormon atmosphere. I learned how to worry less about myself and worry about others needs. It was certainly worthwhile!
