Study Abroad Programs in London

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so many things about myself, about art, about humanity, about God, and how all those things come together. I learned how much I love Europe, and how I hope to live outside of Utah later in life. It was absolutely worth every penny I spent and every minute of my life that was used there.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was not necessarily rigorous, but that does not mean I did not learn. In fact there was an absolutely perfect balance between between being rigorous enough to help me learn more than I ever thought possible, but also easy enough to help me enjoy and appreciate the experience.

* Host Country Program Administration

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? A little more than $100 per week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't eat out very much. Buy food that you can prepare in your house, and then bring a meal with you when you plan to be out of the house. Also, go to Primark for any clothes purchases. That place is dirt cheap.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The city of London is amazing.
  • Our class activities and discussions were amazing.
  • Everything was amazing.
* What could be improved?
  • Truthfully, I can't think of much other than a cheaper cost, but I realize that is a bit illogical.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how to correctly take an HDR photo because it would have been handy in a lot of cases. I look back at my pictures and regret some great photo opportunities.
