Very worthwhile. I gained knowledge and experience that couldn't have been obtained anywhere else.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I learned so much more than I thought I could. Learning there was completely different from here. It was fun and exciting. I would recommend it to anyone. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Everyone was really nice and eager to help. Any problems I had were quickly resolved. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Housing was easy and the rooms were nice. Having a kitchen brought the cost of food down. |
* Food: |
Some good restaurants around that are cheap. Food there is kind of bland. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I loved all our activities. Tours of theaters, going to see the plays, Stratford upon Avon. All the activities were a lot of fun. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
No one got very sick. I never had a question about safety or anything. It was great. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | There are ATMs everywhere, so getting money was not a problem. I would recommend eating as cheaply as possibly. The expensive food really isn't that much better. Out there, all food tastes pretty much the same. |
Language
Language acquisition improvement? |
It was all English speaking, so no difference. |
A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Take all the money you think you could possibly spend, and double it. |
