I was able to improve my fluency. It was worthwhile.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Most of the learning I did was on my own, and I felt like the class taken abroad was not really useful in regards to learning French.

The program directors were good about letting us know what was going on.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My Madame was nice, but she would speak English to me a lot.

* Food:

The majority of places we ate at as a group were good, but when we first arrived in Paris we ate at a restaurant that served American food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt very integrated.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I got sick during the program, but I did not feel like I could talk to the program directors about how I was feeling.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Bring the things you need with you, such as toiletries and clothes. It is a lot easier that way!

My program was a language study abroad, yes I still felt like we spoke English a lot. It was a little disappointing.
