Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Crazy busy, but it was work it! Although you are super busy and running from museum to museum, you have plenty of free time, so don't worry about that. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
fantastic |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
For the most part I was fine with our hotels, but the Florence hotel was a little too out of date, but had amazing owners. Overall, a good experience. |
* Food: |
I love food! The Greek food was the best, then the Gelato in Italy, and croissants in Paris. So delicious! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
There were only a couple times that I felt integrated with the local culture, but I always felt like a tourist. On the other hand, almost everyone was a tourist. I felt more at home in Europe than I thought I would. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Each of our 6 countries had different levels if security. Just be smart. Don't pull out your iPhone too much, that tells people you are well-off. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Things are expensive abroad, if you stick to the grocery stores for several meals and snacks you'll save big time. Eating in restaurants was expensive. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 150 |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
