What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about marketing, though not having any previous marketing knowledge. I also realize that marketing might not necessarily match me. Nonetheless it was a very worthy experience.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I'd say it varied between $50 to $200
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? You can always find a better deal on souvenirs

It wasn't a cultural study abroad program; it was a business study abroad so we didn't focus too much on learning and using another language.

How many hours per day did you use the language?
Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? I didn't go to a language oriented study abroad. I went to a business study abroad. But if you're on a cultural study abroad then go out, talk with the locals. That's the best way to learn.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The company line up was very impressive
  • The hospitality stay for the last two countries
  • The professors and assistants have tried their best to make everything run smoothly
* What could be improved?
  • Timing, it feels too rushed
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? We were thoroughly prepared before we went although I wish I was smarter with the packing. I packed lot of clothes but it was still insufficient when we went to some of the colder countries.
