I learned all about the veterinary-medicine profession and the different paths you can take within the field. It was definitely worthwhile because a lot of what I learned will help me in my future studies. Daeden - Kew-Forest School View Entire Review
About
From gentle giants of the sea to man’s best friend, explore some of the ways and places veterinarians care for different animal populations. The world of veterinary medicine is full of possibilities. At a zoo and conservation center, a team of vets and volunteers provide care to orphaned and injured animals in hopes of releasing them back into their natural habitat. At non-profit animal clinic, experts practice unique handling techniques and reinforcement methods that encourage animal clients’ wellbeing and cooperation. In these places - as well as a government farm and a local zoo - you’ll learn about animal anatomy and behavior, observe and participate in physical examinations and experience the daily routines and requirements of veterinarians working in a variety of settings. In between animal encounters, there will be plenty of time to discover why the Bahamas are some of the most visited tourist destinations. Snorkel the reefs of Rose Island, enjoy the charm of Nassau and explore white sand beaches with 12 other budding veterinarians.
