Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The grading system was very fair. The workload was manageable though I didn't feel like I learned quite enough as I could have about the country, but we really didn't have time to learn any more.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The strengths were getting students out and about all over London with all of the trips planned during the week and on the weekends. The weakness I think was the Paris trip. Many people didn't like it because we felt that we were always waiting for people to meet since we had 45 students. I think the group should have been split up in two groups and that we should be given 4 full days and not 3 because it was so crammed.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The toilets hardly flushed, and the water was always too hot. The closets didn't work and the fridges broke down. Other than that the flats were great! Good sizing and enough room for all of our stuff.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I wish we had more free time or field trips to areas that are not so touristy.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Come with an open mind to all different types of people and really get to know the people on your flat because you will spend a lot of time with them over the course of six weeks. Be ready for a nonstop fun six weeks. Their motto is to sleep when you get home and that is very true!

Comments: Perfect. Though I would suggest going to only two plays a week, but it was still great to experience all the different plays. The grading and workload was fair.

Comments: This man is brilliant. The field trips that we took with it was great!! He is so full of knowledge that we really could only get a brief intro to different parts, and we didn't get enough homework (we had no time to do it) in order to fully understand it.
