Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I felt as though attending class was pointless. I went to every single class and only 2 of the 4 classes I was enrolled in was a benefit to me whilst writing papers for the classes. The other two classes, not so much. There was no homework, which was nice, but then that meant the entirety of your grade relied on a paper or two. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I feel the administration did an amazing job at preparing us and getting us ready for our time abroad. They were there to answer our questions and were very helpful with any qualms we had. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The housing situation was amazing. I loved it! There were 25-or-so people living in the house I was situated in. I had my own room that included a sink. There were 5 people on my floor and we shared a bathroom and a kitchen. All 25 of us shared a living space in the basement. We were about a 10 minute walk from campus, a 2 minute walk from the library, and a 2 minute walk from the city center. |

Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I spent at most 100 pounds each week, but usually I spent about 50 pounds a week on average. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | You have to purchase your own food... going out to eat every night was not an option. |

Comments: | I did not enjoy this course. I did not learn anything interesting. None of the information seemed to be relevant to the papers we had to write nor to what the course was supposed to teach us. |
