What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a lot of insight about european and spanish culture and saw a different way to live and a way by which i could evaluate my own life style here in the US. And i had a lot of fun

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Academics were not challenging but were very interesting and informative about the local area and the history of barcelona/spain.

On-site administration of your program

Very friendly, but slow in the post-experience department ie grades and security deposit

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

4 girl apartment in a residential apartment building <br /><br /> Old accommodations with many broken appliances and very small compared to other living arrangements

* Food:

i don't eat ham, so avoid spain.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

night life is very important in barcelona, and very very fun

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

went to the hospital with a bad cut and had no issues with the people

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? the euro is very strong and take that into account when preparing a budget

Language acquisition improvement?

The spanish class gave me a lot of practical knowledge that was necessary to walk around and communicate with local people.
