What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about new customs and a new culture. I improved in my Spanish speaking and listening skills. It was DEFINATELY worth while. I would do it all over again if I was given the chance.

The classes were difficult, but we learned a lot in such a little amount of time.

Very helpful and kind. They are always there if you need anything and they are easy to talk to.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I got paired with a student and we are now very close, they did good by pairing us. My family is nice as well.

* Food:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the food here!! Pretty positive I've gained 10 pounds because of it.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I feel as though I have learned a lot about the local culture.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Health issues were taking seriously and the program always tried to give you their best advice. I never went to the doctors here, thankfully.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Just watch what you are spending, it is easy to get carried away.

They pushed us to speak in Spanish everyday.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That the Argentina ladies dress VERY classy. I would have brought a completely different wardrobe if I would have known how they dressed! I love the way they dress, and I love their shoes!
