What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was very worthwhile. There are plenty of other languages to learn. This is just the beginning of my international experience.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The grammar class was great, the general courses need a little work.

The program director was very nice and helped me through the entire process and stay.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The homestay was an amazing choice and I am very happy to have my connection to a french family. I seem them as a second family.

* Food:

France has great food. My host mom can cook a great dinner.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

It's tough anywhere you go with an American accent. Overall I did feel like I got used to it. It is a whole new rhythm of life.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any health issues to be addressed but I had great connections and help if any issues presented themselves.

* Safety:

There is great public transportation and I felt very comfortable walking around the city at night.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

It was a bit more than my Stout tuition. Living expenses were reasonable.
