It was such an amazing experience and definitely one that I will never forget. I think that studying abroad should be a requirement because it is the opportunity of a lifetime.

| * Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. | there really wasn't homework. The grading system is very different then in the U.S. Grades are mostly just based on a midterm and a final. |

| * Food: | Bar Poe has awesome tapas. Cafe Futbol is overrated. |

| * Safety: | healthcare is free which is pretty awesome. Medicine is a pain to get though if you are sick. |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I didn't really spend much during the week. On weekends I only spent 5-10 euros on tapas or snacks. | 
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Anytime you want to travel to another country you will most likely have to take a 5 hour bus ride to the Madrid airport, which was quite a pain. |
