Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The work should have been spaces out better. I went weeks without any assignments and then in the course of 2 weeks I had 4 papers due. Also grading needs to be sped up. A month after the program has ended and I still haven't recieved a single grade from one of my classes.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I was in a very uncomfortable housing situation and there was nothing I could do about it.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The Internet always cut out for hours at a time. My roommate was a slob all over community areas and became irrational when asked to clean up. Things constantly broke and took way to long to fix. I got locked out of my flat for 2 hours when the security guard didnt believe me when I told him my door was broken.

* Food:

I went shopping for my own food and cooked it so that was great!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

London was an amazing city. I made some amazing friends. I saw so much theatre and visited so many museums. I learned how to make a proper cup of tea and what custard and loo roll is.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I'm probably not a good example but I often walked home late at night and never had an incident.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Open your bank account at Barclays. It's a much better bank than HSBC. Also avoid the tube and walk as much as you because you will save tons of money.
