What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Gave me a new perspective on my education (I am pre-med and medical education is VERY different in England). The experience definitely broadened my horizons - it was very worthwhile!

CAPA stipend helped budget A LOT..London is a very expensive city though

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Book any traveling you plan on doing as early as possible and take advantage of CAPA excursions - got to to and see a lot of otherwise expensive things cheaply or for free!

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Excursions and activities were awesome!
  • The stipend!
  • CAPA team was extremely nice and helpful
* What could be improved?
  • Would have been nice if all the CAPA students lived in the same area - housing was spread out across the city/some of my good friends lived an hour away
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Food does not last nearly as long (threw out a lot food in the beginning). If you are taking an english class registering at the town library is very easy and will save you a ton of money!
