What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My internship through CAPA was absolutely the best decision I could have made. Yes, you have to pay for it, but when you get back to the States with a letter of recommendation coming from London, it will more than pay for itself.

The courses were more geared toward being culturally immersive than being rigorous... which is what I was there for!

Cultural immersion was one of the things that I found CAPA excelled at!

I was sick, I was told where to go, I went there, they took care of me. And I still have a bottle of Beecham's All-in-One in my medicine cabinet to remind me of London. :)

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I was fine as I had a significant amount of savings, but I wondered how other students managed.

The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
