We were able to explore London while also learning about its history within our classroom experience.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived on Longridge in the Kensington/Chelsea area which is about a 7 minute walk from CAPA which was amazing. We lucked out with having the best location. We did have some issues with our apartment and it was more on the lines of the typical london living. All the other complexes were newly renovated so all their technology and living space was much nicer than ours. It was a tight squeeze to live with 6 people (3 in each room) as the rooms were ridiculously tiny. Maintenance was very helpful, whenever something was broke you either called or wrote it on the list and they were there either that same day or the following day.

* Food:

Food in London is not the greatest, it is something you have to get used too.

Never had any health issues

* Safety:

Be careful with pick-pocketers, especially on the tube.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Cellphone is easier to just unclock your iphone rather than buying a phone from PicCell or any other international phone.

Comments: Lets just start off by saying that our first class was spent on a boat upon the Thames overlooking some of the most monumental areas of London. This class helped me learn about the history of London. We've read poems, trips to museums, went for a ride on the London Eye, watched films that take place in London some years ago, read two novels and even got to meet one of the authors. This class was absolutely amazing and I suggest that you take it! The teacher is amazing and is also a professor in the US at Pitt.
