Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

CAPA kept the classes rigorous and interesting, but also kept aware that we were students abroad who wanted to travel!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

CAPA set up all our housing for us in advanced so I never had to worry about it. I lived in an amazing, social part of the city!

* Food:

CAPA didn't include any meal plans or dining facilities

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

CAPA knew exactly where and how to refer us to a healthcare provider when needed. Although I didn't have any medical needs while I was there, but my roommate used the services provided by CAPA and received quick and cheap medical attention

* Safety:

I've never felt safer in a city than I did with CAPA in London!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I probably spent around 50 pounds per week on groceries
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Grocery shop weekly, shop budget airlines, and make sure to show your student ID everywhere you go!
