Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The classes were very engaging and collaborative. In most on my classes I had to work in some type of a group and make a presentation. Some of my classes were also Global Networked with students in Australia. Overall, the classes were challenging and a good amount of work was provided. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The front desk on site was very helpful and friendly. They were willing to help out with any questions that I had. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I did a homestay while I was abroad. I really enjoyed living with my homestay family. They were really welcoming and friendly making my experience that much better. |
* Food: |
The was amazing! Going to the markets and trying different restaurants around the city was my favorite part. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
People are very friendly and easy going. I managed to make a good amount of local friends that I hung out with regularly. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt very safe in London the whole time I was there. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
If I were to do it all over again I would do an exchange program. Reason being is I would like to take classes with locals and local professors. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $100 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I recommend saving a good amount of money before the program. The sterling is much stronger than the American Dollar. After the exchange rates and fees the money lost really added up. |
Language

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
