I really enjoyed my history class I took where I learned about what makes London a global city because I was able to practice experience learning. Also, I learned a ton from my internship; I liked that it was part-time (only 20 hours a week), which gave me plenty of time for exploring while still gaining experience working abroad. London is full of diversity, and I was experience this by being surrounded by new people and trying amazing ethnic foods from around the world. If you are looking for a worldly experience, London is a great place to get a taste of a little bit from a lot of places.

Yes
I went abroad with CAPA on a 6-week summer trip to London, where I had a part-time internship in digital marketing and took two classes - a history class about London as a global city and a professional development class. Overall, I had a great experience! We lived in a nice flat in Camden, which was a great location to get anywhere reasonably by Tube or bus. The CAPA staff was great with offering any support needed, whether it be with finding a good internship or helping you plan a fun weekend trip. They planned some great events, like a trip to Wimbledon and a royal bike tour. London was a great place to be in the summer. There were plenty of great things to do around the city - many of which were cost effective or free! I enjoyed all of the food markets and walking around the beautiful parks on the weekend. Completing an internship abroad was something I wanted to do and am glad I chose to go with CAPA! |
