The internship opened my eyes to career possibilities that I had not considered before. I could see myself working in that field now that I have a bit of experience.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The courses were challenging enough to be stimulating without overwhelming our already busy schedules. I liked all three of my professors and thought they did a fine job. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The apartment was a bit crowded (6 of us in 2 bedrooms, with common area and kitchen) but for the time we were there it served our needs fine. The only recurring issue was lightbulbs, which burned out very quickly. |
* Food: |
I was within walking distance of several markets and had no trouble preparing my own food, an incident with a faulty can-opener notwithstanding. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I enjoyed the opportunity to travel. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I don't remember any safety concerns other than the aggressiveness of double-decker bus drivers and bicyclists towards pedestrians. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
