I gained awareness of the different cultures around the world and experienced a growth in independence. It impacted my academic interests by giving me a sense of what I want to do as a career, being that I chose a path that will sustain me financially.

the workload while studying abroad was less than that in the US; the only major assignments included reading and writing midterm and final essays. It was very manageable and well-organized. |

the apartment was well-equipped, although there was a lightbulb that blew out in the middle of the semester. I bought a replacement lightbulb afterward only to have that one blow out shortly afterward. |

Every field trip organized was especially memorable and provided information on cultural life in England. |
