Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I feel as if I learned a lot and the professors were very helpful, however the staff and administrators at FIE were a little difficult and not respectful since we were not fully emerged into their program.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Elizabeth Watkins is a great overseas coordinator extremely helpful and understanding. She understands the way a program should be run and then strives for that, and she understands the students. She is also extremely knowledgeable about the country, and met all expectations.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We had great flats to live in, they were in a great location and extremely safe and beautiful. the only problem was it was hard to get things fixed by the ACORN staff.

* Food:

We went to the market and cooked our own food the majority of the time, so it was pretty good, we didn't go out to eat too much.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I learned a lot about British Culture and did a couple or weekend trips into Europe which were amazing.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

we tried to stay in groups and make sure someone knew where we were at al times as a precaution. And when we got sick we just went to the local pharmacy to get medicine, so that was easy.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

N/A Every thing was taught in English

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? This program was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone, I loved it!!!
