Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
What was disappointing was that the courses were composed of students only from US universities. I would have preferred to have had classes with UK students, for that would have provided a better understanding of British culture. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
FIE taught good courses, but I did not like being with the American students. It took away from the being abroad experience. |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The location was wonderful I am very grateful for having had the privileged of staying there. However, the Housing provider took a long time to respond to maintenance requests. |
| * Food: |
We bought and cooked our own food. |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
would have has a better experience in UK classes. |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
| * Safety: |
Health was delt with by our own means and pocket. I felt safe in London. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
|
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Language
| Language acquisition improvement? |
No Foreign Language. |
A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Take advantage of every opportunity there. |
