Personal Information
| How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 1 month - 6 months |
Review Your Program
| * Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. | The class was amazing. The teacher was very open and easy to talk to, a fair grader, and had interesting material to cover. We experienced a lot of Spanish speakers/teachers and had a balance of guest speakers and our own professor teaching. |
| * Host Country Program Administration On-site administration of your program | They were awesome. I fell in love with all four of our directors. They helped out with any problems or questions you had and were very friendly and private about it if you wanted. |
| * Housing: How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? | Housing location was perfect. The housing itself was very strange and different than what was expected/told we would be living in. Overall it was satisfactory due to the locals who lived there with us and location. |
| * Food: | Go to Doner kebobs, chino restaurants and look for cheap sandwich shops to save money. |
| * Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture? | Bull fight was amazing. Different kind of live sport entertainment that I had never previously experienced. |
| * Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
 |
| * Safety: |
 |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? | Yes
 |
Finances
| * Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
 |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Maybe 30-40 euros a day for the first week and a half and then 20-30 euros after that. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Buy food from the grocery store, do not eat out all the time. |
Language
| How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
| If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition? |
