La dolce vita! Past Review

CEA CAPA Education Abroad: Rome, Italy

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Definitely a worthwhile experience, and I encourage everybody to do it. You will have a bad time if you don't put yourself out there and attempt to embrace yourself in the culture and meet people. But if you do, you really do learn a lot about yourself and others, as well as get more of an open mind. Definitely recommended, Rome is extremely beautiful and we never got bored! If I could do it all over again, I would pick the same program, location, and people!

  • The location
  • The food
* What could be improved?
  • Classes should have less work
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew not to pack so much, packing for home was 10x worse than packing for Italy because I had souvenirs and such. No one ever listens to that advice, but it is so annoyingly true. Also- live everyday to the fullest while abroad, it really goes by in a flash and is over before you know it.
