On-site administration of your program

The staff was unbelievibly nice they were so welcoming and caring, however, for the first couple of days i felt completly lost, it was like they handed us a map when we arrived and we were on our own. although it was frustrating at first i feel that it helped me learn the city faster and better.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

the apartment was in a nice location, however we had cockroaches, now I know that they are common in Sevilla but they are very disturbing to have in a house especially in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? probably around 100 euros per week depending on what we did
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? On excurstion weekends, i feel that the program should at least provide one meal a day especially if it would have been include if the student remainded in their apartment or homestay

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? Beginner

considering both of my classes were taught in English, both my professors incouraged us to speak spanish. For Cultural values we went out into the community and took surveys this involved us translating our sentences then actually asking locals in spanish. For photography we had to ask premission to take certain photos in which we had to as in spanish.
