Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I barely did anything for my classes because they didn't require me to. Of course I could've studied more myself. Self-motivation is what their system is all about, but the problem with that is that students need to be pushed or required to do something or they won't do it. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Nice dorms but we were all thrown in with freshman who are beyond immature. They are disgusting when it comes to the communal kitchen. They are inconsiderate of others when it comes to noise and I had multiple things stolen from my fridge. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Didn't experience a lot of "Welsh" things other than on the field trips and even then we were just seeing the touristy things. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I had to go to the doctor for an ear problem I was having. I wasn't impressed by any means. It was easy enough to get an appointment (after I had told them I woke up bleeding from the ear). I saw a nurse and she took one look at my ear, told me I had obliterated my eardrum, and then she shoved me out the door in a matter of three minutes. I finally got to see an actual doctor a week later and I had to wait an hour in the waiting room for five minutes with him. He prescribed me some medicine I should've got the week beforehand. Overall, it was handled poorly. And I don't care that it was for free. They could at least do their jobs. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I know everything about traveling when it comes to planes and public transport within cities and I had to learn about it the hard way. Also the Eurail pass is a waste of money. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
