Incredible experience academically and socially that helped me grow personally. Past Review
By A student (Middlebury College) - abroad from 01/03/2012 to 04/14/2012 with
Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies - Oxford
I learned that I could throw myself into a wholly new situation that was challenging academically and succeed and have a great time. It was totally worthwhile

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
High level of academic rigor where we were constantly challenged to perform to the best of our abilities coupled with a highly supportive and encouraging environment. The staff and professors were wonderful and extremely dedicated to the program. |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Fully stocked kitchen, with individual fridges and a common room with Tv and DVD player. Wifi throughout residence. Computers and Printers available 24/7 with free printing. Great location right in the Middle of Downtown area of Oxford. |
* Food: |
Keble dining hall was not too bad, but not too close. We found it easier to cook for ourselves, especially with the fully stocked kitchen and fridges. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
British people are difficult to meet and less likely to open up at first. But if you put in the time to finding people and joining clubs, it is definitely possible to make some lasting friendships with locals. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
We have a doctor specially assigned to care for us at all times if and when the need arises. |
* Safety: |
Oxford itself is extremely safe and we always felt safe in the building and in the areas surrounding it. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
