The brain tumor surgery was the most surprisingly impactful event I observed. Overall, I gained a deeper understanding of topics relevant to medicine and my studies.

My mane is Joe, I am from Plymouth, England. I chose this internship because I am going to University next year and I needed this for my application. So that’s been a perfect chance for me. Cerca has been brilliant in so many ways. In particular with the hospital and the experiences that I’ve had. It’s ranged from a knee surgery, from replacements to brain tumors, it’s been incredible and I would recommend it to everybody. The transport has been simple, quick to the hospital- you can’t go wrong. The apartment has been very nice. There’s many places to go out and eat and Athens itself as a place is really nice. I particularly liked the Acropolis which is the most famous part. There much to do and I recommend it. |
