Comfortable and clean. Everything I needed was provided and the location was great.

Tasty and varied! I enjoyed trying local dishes and everything was well prepared.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Fantastic! I felt truly welcomed. I joined local events, met amazing people and experienced Greek traditions up close.

Health support was reliable. I always felt safe and well cared for throughout the experience

Everything felt secure and well managed. I could focus on learning without worrying about safety.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Hi, I am Nikita and I come from the University of Newcastle, Australia. I did this program as part of my placement fee at the University. It has been amazing. I’ve seen so many different departments and surgeries. Greece itself is absolutely incredible; so many things to see and do. And the staff was also amazing.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It was manageable. Costs were reasonable and I found great value in everything offered.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Yes! Cook at home when you can , use student discounts and plan weekend trips early to find cheaper options. It really helps!
