If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Hi, my name is Dobby Baum. I am from New York and I am currently a senior premed. I chose this program because I wanted to have something extra on my medical school application, something different, out of the box. Here in Greece what was unique was that I actually go to the OR and actually scrub into surgery which I don’t know if I would have this opportunity in New York, so that was very cool. The people here are very friendly and nice. I am Jewish and I actually went here to the Jewish community, so that was really nice, I got to meet some people and it was nice overall.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Very easily.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100$
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? You can keep it simple and practical. Cook some of your meals instead of eating out every day. Use public transportation and set a weekly budget so you can enjoy your time without overspending
