Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The overall educational experience was excellent. Nothing is like actually stepping onto your film set and making the film you've been planning for three months. I learned so much thanks to that experience. Classes were a little less consistent but could often be pretty informative |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The administration had some problems with communication, but were overall well-intentioned and competent. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
Food was cheap with many options, though you'll be much better off if you appreciate the hearty style of authentic czech cuisine. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
My apartment's czech roommate spoke particularly great English and we talked about our cultural differences at length, and I felt reasonably informed on how to act in a more culturally informed way when in public spaces. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I had no experience with healthcare. |
* Safety: |
Very safe. No problems at all. The only real crime in any capacity is pickpocketing, which we were warned about plenty. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|

* Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
