Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The film aspects of the program provided by our head mentor Apoorva Satish were excellent and an experience I don't feel i could get from anyone or where else. It was an extremely rigorous and intense semester, but very rewarding. Unfortunately, Apoorva will not be returning to the program, and I don't know what I can reccomend without her presence and dedication to her students and the program. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The apartments were convenient and fine, i did share a room for one person with another student, with only one warddrobe provided for the both of us and nearly no other storage or room to even stand. it was overall fine, but made uncomfortable by the presence of racist and homophobic 'czech roommates' enstated by CET. |
* Food: |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
CET made recieving even emergency healthacre nearly impossible, by providing little ot no support when students were ill |
* Safety: |
Prague is generally low on crime and safe. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
If i had been able to prepare for the emotional isolation designed by CET i may've been able to handle it better, and i definetly never would have tried to get the help the had no interest in providing. |

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Its pretty cheap. |
Language
* Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
How much did the program encourage you to use the language?
0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language |
Enough to get around and do the day to day necessities. |
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
How would you rate your language skills at the end of the program? | Beginner |
