What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Lots of hands on film production knowledge. It was definitely worthwhile as it was not an experience I could have received at my home institution, and I met so many great students from around the US!

I loved the cultural activities offered by CET, and I loved that we got to live in apartments with other CET film students because it really helped create a community. I also loved being able to direct enroll at FAMU because while very intense, I learned so much about film production.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Go to the stores and shops around you. And ordering in restaurants is a really fast way to pick up common phrases!
