About
Seeking a program pushing the boundaries of art? Prefer a small program setting surrounded by a vibrant arts scene? Choose CET New Media and take one-of-a-kind courses at the FAMU Center for Audio Visual Studies (CAS), an art school within a film school. Your intermedia project is the centerpiece of your semester. Use biosensors, video, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi. Experiment with open-source software. You'll benefit from the mentorship and feedback of renowned artists, and you'll even exhibit your own work in Prague. You'll live with CET peers and possibly a local Czech student. A highlight of the program is an overnight visit to a castle town. This program is open to all majors and is a good fit for independent students wishing to devote a semester to pursuing their own new media project.
